Focus and Scope
International Research in Social Sciences (IRSS) is an international open access, double-blind and peer-reviewed
journal published in English. The journal bridges social science communities across disciplines and continents. It
aims to promote research both in the Social Sciences and its cognates. It covers a wide range of subjects related to social sciences, including business, communication, criminal justice, economics, education, gender, psychology,
political science, anthropology, cultural studies, law, history, geography and sociology.

Peer Review Process
We use a double-blind peer-review system for all manuscripts submitted. Both reviewers’ and authors’ identities remain anonymous. The paper will be reviewed by three experts: one editorial staff and two external reviewers. The review process may take two to three weeks. All submissions are peer-reviewed based on accuracy, fairness and efficiency.
Publication Frequency
Semi-annual, published in May & December
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
